My husband and I are wanting to live mostly off grid in a tiny house/cabin that doesn't have a bunch of housing codes and premits. Basically we want to live in a little house on the prairie. We most likely will purchase one of those pre fab sheds that look like a little house/barn. I'll attach some photos below. The only main grid thing that we would need is the internet since we work from home online. We would use solar panels, wood burning stove, rain catchment system, grey water, grow our own food, composting toilet, etc. We want to live a simpler life in a tiny house out in the country without having to worry about a bunch of codes, permits and be left alone. Do you know of the best place to do this at? We currently live in Pennsylvania and I know it would be nearly impossible to do this at here. Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated!

Internet options for service and speed are still very limited in rural ares. Suggest you thoroughly research this consideration first.

We've already considered this and we are 100% committed to going off grid.

Check into Bonner County, Idaho, and Custer County, Colorado.

In Bonner, you'd have problems with solar panels, and in Custer you'd have problems with rain catchment (illegal in Colorado), and growing your own food.
