Still feels more like fall here in KC. Leaves are still on many trees, some leaves are still green actually. Today was the coldest day of the season so far with a high of 41 but very sunny. It's supposed to get back into the 60s in the next few days. We dodged the recent blizzard that has inundated the more northern parts of the Midwest. Supposed to be 45 here tomorrow, perfect for the 12 mile hike I'm doing.

It still seems Winter is far away-today was beautiful. I know better, though this week looks nice too.

The warm Indian Summer-esque fall has ended, but it doesn't feel like winter has really started yet.

Northeast Texas here. We're supposed to get the first freeze of the year tonight. WOOHOO! Today was bright, sunshiny, with crystal blue skies and a whipping wind that was blowing yellow and red leaves everywhere! I LOVED IT.

I might light a fire tomorrow night. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 50 and that's pretty chilly for around here for this time of year. However, it had already snowed (just a dusting) by this time last year. And the year before that, or maybe two, we had a white Christmas!

That is because KC isn't really the Midwest in terms of climate, it's more like the South these days.

yea i was in Terre Haute for the weekend and it got pretty cold. only about a 1/2 an inch for them though, and it melted once the sun came out.

Could have been a false start for Chicago though? its supposed to return to 40/50 through out the week and rainy, snow will probably all melt
