Sunny and in the low 50's today in my part of Massachusetts. Plenty of patrons at the golf course across the street from my home.

I have not turned on my furnace yet this season for heat. It has gotten a bit cold some nights but not too severe.

So far, winter has been exceedingly mild here in the Twin Cities. Highs aren't even supposed to dip below freezing the entire month of December and possibly into January, which is unprecedented.

Terribly mild, but was chilly this morning at 22F. This pattern was my worst fear, zonal flow with Pacific air flooding the country and no snow and cold at all so far.

It has been quite wet in my location in Indiana, 58.00 inches of precipitation so far this year.

56 today, projected into the mid 60s for KC Thurs/Fri. Will cool down into highs in the upper 40s into the 20th. Don't think we'll have a white Christmas this year. I'll be in Northwest Indiana for Xmas but not holding my breath there either.

The weather pattern the country is observing right now, that people are saying that is "too warm," is exactly how the climate of the US would be in a natural climactic state. With the Jet Stream in a natural, zonal flow, Arctic air stays bottled up in northern Canada/Alaska, like it should be, without spilling South into the US, and bringing unnaturally cold temps. This is basically a semblance of the natural US climate.

Uh, no it's not. Here in the Twin Cities, highs should already be averaging below freezing, yet it's remained in the 40s every single day so far this December. Totally not normal weather for this time of the year at all.
