It just stopped snowing here in the Baltimore area. Light accumulation.

It is *wintery*, cold, some snow, some rain, some sleet but not now and not all of it at the same time.

Been in the upper 40's during the day for much of the last week, and forecast for the rest of this week.

Been in the teens/twenties at night. 5% snow cover left. Still a decent amount in the part of the backyard that doesn't see much sun.

I went up to Northern Colorado on Saturday, and everywhere from Longmont north to Fort Collins still has a nice thick blanket. I can't explain that, as we generally get more snow than they do (sun % about the same), but it sure looked pretty.

I hear that we could be getting a winter storm, about 8-13 inches this weekend in the Bos-Wash corridor.

Finally feeling like winter here in NJ! Cold and blustery today after 1/2" of light snow yesterday. Rumors of a major snowstorm for this weekend!

It was unusually warm here in the Twin Cities up until late December, and then the normal winter weather arrived for Christmas.

So far, no major snowstorms, just the typical January cold snaps.
