I watch the super bowl as little as possible, although I've been conned into a couple of SB parties over the years. I've only watched 2 in their entirety. It's sad when the half time show, commercials (????), and pre-post game stuff, seems more exciting and anticipated than the game itself.
None of that silliness is much of a problem in baseball's World Series or hockey's Stanley Cup. Maybe it's because they get to play best of 7, and football just has the one game, so they might as well make the best of the one day have.
I'd watch the Super Bowl if the Chiefs were in it, though.... like that's ever going to happen with Carl Peterson running the show.

Who would have ever thought in this era of free agency a team has the chance to go undefeated an entire season.
In my neck of the woods people go absolutely nuts for the Patriots and believe me, it is absolutely annoying. I never liked the Patriots anyways and I hope they lose just so these annoying New Englanders will shut the heck up. It is totally pathetic.

Now, the Patriots uniforms suck! They should have kept the old school ones as they looked much better. The uniforms that they wear these days just look stupid. They remind of something cheesy like if Rocky was about a football team that played the evil Russians (Yeah, I get it.........what ever).

And, stop calling them the Pats. You know how lame that sounds? It sounds like an un-pc word that rhymes with hay. Every time I hear someone refer to them as the Pats I always immediately think of Pat from the Saturday Night Live sketch, It's Pat. Annoying, not fun.

I don't care for the Giants either, but it would be so nice if a New York team beat the Patriots in the Super bowl.

Yeah, I'll probably watch it.

From a diehard Redskins fan:

I'll hate you guys again next year, but right now, you made the whole NFC East, and the rest of the NFL proud.

Thank you New York Giants.
