Why not? English is the language of the world.
Dutch is only spoken by 30 million people.

You speak English, though, do you not? Then what is the use in having it as your first language?

I like to improve it plus no need to speak another language again.

I don't like having it as my 1st language. I'd rather speak it as a 2nd language. It is too much of a global language.

We would welcome The Netherlands as a 52nd state (after PR) of the USA! I think the Dutch already speak very good English. Most I've met speak fluently - albeit with that sinister "Dr. Evil" accent. The USA also needs the Dutch's expertise to build levies and tidal barriers around our sinking cities like New Orleans and Manhattan that are in danger from subsidence and rising sea level with climate change. Not to mention your high-tech growing of flowers! It would be nice having a beach-head into our eventual conquest of Europe and the Middle East. Hey, who would you'all chose to be your future master - Donald Trump of Amerika or Caliph Ibrahim of ISIS?!!!

We don't need the Dutch to help us with levees. They've already told us their secret: just find a little boy and have him stick his finger into the hole! And as for the flowers, I don't trust the Dutch on that one; not since that whole Tulip Mania business.

I think the new English states should consolidate. Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine should be united and Connecticut and Rhode Island should be merged. To make it more fair electoral college wise, the The Dakotas should be combined and Idaho, Montana and Wyoming should be combined.

Then we can add in PR, Kenya, the Netherlands, Brazil, Rhodesia, and Laos

I don't see why we would ever do that.

PR is only in question because it's a long-held territory.
