Wow....lets everyone just calm down here. Let the haters hate. And most importantly, lets not let a couple ignorant haters in here reinforce the stereotype that all whites are confederate flag waving racists. I most certainly am not. And to keep hearing the crap about affirmative action makes me sick. People act like they have been denied jobs while an african american got the job because they are black. I bet not one of these people has been in or even knows someone who is in the situation. Grow up people. These excuses for your rabid hate doesn't fly in 2008. And.... if you are so unhappy with society, move to Canada. None of this changes the fact that blacks are still have a lower income than whites and a grossly higher poverty rate. Sure doesn't sound too fair to me.
affirmative action is meant to negate stereotypes in order to level the playing field. minorities and women. white women. it doesn't actually work in definition. i'm tired of all the people who don't even know the law calling it unfair to whites.
The confederate flag is not necessarily racist. It can simply be a symbol of southern pride. It can be racist, but not necessarily.
Unfortunately, many racist groups have appropriated the Confederate flag for themselves, just as right-wing rednecks appropriated the American flag for themselves in the 60s.
Affirmative action is outdated...where the hell have you been? Roll over and wake your mom up, she can tell you a time when affirmative action may have actually been a positive gesture for society. It sure as s*it isn’t now.
If you want to "negate a stereotype”, start capitalizing the first letter of your sentences. I then I can stop saying "all retards don't capitalize the first letter of their sentences". Good day.
Long time reader...never posted, I am compelled this time.
I vote this post of the year! I can't stop laughing.
within 5 years i think...sadly, cincy is a permanent a candidate but i'm thinking indy, cleveland, st. louis, miami should all tread lightly...i remember in 2001 during the cincinnati riots, they showed on cincinnati news some locals out in st.louis saying they supported the uprising and they were next if the city doesn't get its act together.
