I live in Columbus, OH which has seen a huge growth in # of craft breweries in town...same can be said about Cleveland, Cincinnati and all over Ohio for that matter...
Also, I know Denver and Portland and San Diego are considered that top Craft Beer cities in the country...
So I'm curious as to hear...what larger cities/regions outside of those big 3 are great Craft Beer places (meaning they have a lot of options as well as good quality)
Bend, OR is the same size as Asheville, and has over 20+ breweries in town. Dechutes, Boneyard, 10 Barrel, Crux, Worthy, etc. etc. etc. Definitely should be mentioned. For big cities, Seattle should definitely make the cut..
Location: northern Vermont - previously NM, WA, & MA

Craft Beer can be found in most places now. Places that stick out for me as being fanatical about it are Denver and Portland.

This is true, the Boston area does very well with beer selection and microbreweries are easily found in smaller cities like Portsmouth, Portland, Burlington, and Northampton.
Outside of the cities, most small towns have at least two here in the Rust Belt.
