Hi All! Okay here's what we're looking for;

4 Seasons (low humidity, some snow)
Good Schools (public middle & high school)
Affordability (decent homes in the $250k-$350 range)
Nothing West of Colorado, or South of Georgia
Prefer an area that's pretty in one way or another (vague, I know, but I'm interested in opinions)
Open to any population size
Nice People!

Currently living in Sarasota FL area. Here because of a great school (for gifted), and would love something with opportunities for gifted students, but would be just as happy with high quality public school system. Tired of the heat, cost of living, and rude snowbirds!

Thanks!

Pretty much a good chunk, if not all of the Interior Northeast(PA outside of the Philly area, Upstate NY, Western MA). Do you have any other criteria?

Just to throw out a place there in that general area, perhaps parts of the Pittsford NY area in the Rochester NY metro. Very good schools, has a walkable village with the Erie Canal running through it, close to plenty of shopping and amenities. Fayetteville-Manlius and Williamsville in NY also come to mind for similar reasons.
