Do they still have the rebuild from Katrina volunteer thing there?
A bit o/t, but funny you should mention that, we're looking into volunteer work of some kind when we next visit - most places seem happy to have help even if it's only for a day.
Did I mention the air ticket is from Sydney?
Hawaii. I know it's an island in the middle of the Pacific and you that can kind of mess with you psychologically, but look on the bright side - I'd be in Hawaii! Hawaii has a major cosmpolitan city (Honolulu), it's extremely diverse, it has beautiful scenery..................I kind of like cold weather, not so much hot and humid weather, but you know...................you can deal with heat and humidity when you live in Hawaii, as opposed to say............Mississippi or Alabama.
So yeah....................Hawaii. I thought about California, but then I was like...............nah. I like how Hawaii is isolated and does its own thing. Kind of like me.
oh okay! but since The other islands are part of the state, of course you can island hot!
