Within city of Phoenix, areas within 1/2 mile radius of 24th St&Camelback Rd, and within 1/2 mile radius of 19th Ave&Bethany Home Rd. I'm moving from my current neighborhood to the latter at the end of the month. Light rail with a park and ride, a mall, bowling alley, grocery store, movie theatre, and several restaurants all within walking distance

St. Louis is an old city, so most major neighborhoods (and even the inner ring suburbs) have dense, walkable commercial corridors, but here are some of the bigger ones off the top of my head...

Philly. Leaving off all neighborhoods considered Center City and South Philly since there are just too many and/or there is no real commercial "strip." A lot of South Philly is just very small blocks with corner stores/restaurants/bars.
