I actually think the Texas Culture stomps out all the cities' culture...not only Houston but all of Texas... When people think of Dallas (as said above) they think of cowboys...which is not Dallas, thats Texas...so when People say Houston...they think Texas...and when they think Texas they thing of a whole bunch of Indians on horses coming down a hill with bows and arrows against 5 young good looking white men mounted on white horses with guns and they somehow beat the crap out of the Indians and are heroes...
That's a pretty cool description. I bet you were laughing when you wrote this. Yeah people stereotype Texas as being desert and cowboys. People think all Californians surf all day long and spend the rest of their time dreaming about surfing. People think that Miami is just a bunch of Cubans that deal drugs. A lot of people think of the movie Scarface when they think of Miami. People love to stereotype places. Most people that have never been to a place just go off of what they see on TV and think that's the truth. We all know that everything reported in the media is true. I could make a movie about how people in Arizona ride donkeys to work and most people in America that have never been to Arizona will believe it. Most people are easily fooled.
October is very nice time of the year to be in New England.
Yeah it was. My wife and I picked October because of the fall foliage. I like New England in general. As far as natural beauty northern New England definitely has better scenery than southern New England. Maine and NH have very good scenery. Newport, RI is cool. I enjoyed all the nice mansions. I was dreaming with my eyes open.
Houston has more culture because it is more diverse than Boston. Houston has one of the largest China towns in America. It has a lot of Chinese and Vietnamese people. Houston has the largest Nigerian community in America. Basically Houston has more diversity than Boston. More diversity equals more culture.
Why do you think Boston has more culture than Houston?
you mean more diverse ethnic groups, more cosmopolitan... more cultural establishments? no.

Are you saying Houston has more diversity and is more cosmopolitan than Boston but Boston has more culture than Houston? Is that what you're saying?
