Grand Rapids has three minor league teams.

The Whitecaps single A tigers affiliate that has pretty good attendance and notoriety for the innovative and sometimes gimicky food offerings they have.

The Griffins an AHL Redwings affiliate that is pretty successful and well attended.

The Grand Rapids Drive are an NBA D-League team for the Pistons but I don't know very much about them.

The Drive are new to Grand Rapids, they recently left Springfield. Which by the way is a terrible minor league city, the only reason they still have the Falcons is because the AHL is based in Springfield.

Charleston, SC is a very good sports market.

You have the RiverDogs, a Yankees minor league affiliate, which usually draws one of the best South Atlantic League attendances.

The Stingrays (hockey, ECHL) has been around for over 2 decades, and the Battery (USL Pro, soccer) has been very successful as well.

You also have three very competitive Division I universities in the Citadel, College of Charleston, and Charleston Southern.

Aren't Madison and Austin more College Sports as opposed to Minor League towns?
For example on TV/Radio/Newspapers the Longhorns Dominate in Austin.
As opposed to Rochester where the Knighthawks (NLL), Red Wings (MiLB), and Americans (AHL) get the vast majority of media coverage.

Tucson?

Yeah, no

They do not have that many options and have struggled to keep minor league baseball going

Wait until they get the Springfield Falcons
Report: Springfield Falcons could move to Arizona | masslive.com
4th New England AHL team hits the road. (Manchester got shafted they had nearly 6,000 fans/game).
