Do people in other states think Alligators are a big problem here in Florida? Because I have lived here 40+ years and have never run into an alligator although I have seen one in the lake behind our house. I wouldn't advise anybody who doesn't love heat & humidity to move here but it certainly wouldn't be because of alligators.

Northern Florida has 4 seasons and is nothing like central or southern Florida. They even get snow sometimes.
