My cultural background. I've moved way too many times to have a strong regional identification, and so I bond with people from my culture/ethnicity whenever I move again. It's not intentional, just the way things go.

To add to my earlier post...in my current home of Albuquerque, I identify more with the state than the city. Albuquerque is not really that interesting a city in and of itself. What makes Albuquerque interesting is the fact that it's in New Mexico, and New Mexico is a totally cool state.

Truly none of the above currently. Maybe I'll find a place I can identify with later. Although when it comes down to it it will probably be a part of the South.

I probably identify most with all of Northern New Jersey than with Jersey City specifically.
