City maybe.

If you check Morgan Quitno's list, St. Louis is the 121st most dangerous metro.

City is a lot different than metro.

Where is New Orleans on this poll? Its usually rated the murder capitol of the nation, along with STL and DET.

most metros are safe. as long as the city propers of all cities are the only criterion, it's a fair comparison. no use in comparing metros though. too many variables.

That list is kind of a joke and the poll results are even worse. Why would someone vote for Chicago, New York, and any other city besides Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, Detroit, Baltimore, and D.C. And the list is missing a lot of cities that could be the most dangerous. LA? Come on man.

My vote for Detroit is not based on opinion, but rather actual and factual statistics.

People are so hung up on this topic that it really deprives them of a place theyd otherwise like. Such a shame really.
