Texas boarders 4 US states and 4 Mexican states for a total of 8.

And how about the least? That goes to Maine with only 1 which is New Hampshire. Maine wins unless you don't count Alaska or Hawaii.

I think Kentucky borders the second-most with 7. Colorado technically borders 7 as well (but I don't know if Arizona counts since the only touch at a single point).
