Traveling is my #1 hobby and likely the only reason I keep signing back on to post on this forum, ultimately to gain a better understanding in every way of what aspects each city has going for it. I do it frequently, most years when the schedule allows, I try to travel at least twice a month during two of the four or five weekends in the month and to go out and see another city outside of my general area. That's a pretty refreshing prospect for me, because it drives me nuts being in the same city day-in, day-out for 365 days a year (I can't do it).

That being said, over the years I've managed to see 47 American states and 3 Canadian provinces; but I wont really be content until I've seen all 50 American states, all American territories that are inhabited, and all major Canadian provinces with large population centers. Even more than seeing states and provinces, I have more of an interest to see cities, since to me, cities far far far outweigh states.

So with that being the case, below is a list of places that I still have to see at least once in North America. Places in the United States-Canada-Mexico.

My list is in no particular order, just listing them as they come into my head, because my intention is to see them all at some point in the future.

01. Honolulu
02. Halifax
03. Calgary
04. Anchorage
05. Edmonton
06. Mexico City
07. Puebla
08. Minneapolis
09. Monterrey
10. Guadalajara
11. Charleston, SC
12. Savannah
13. Portland, ME (been to Maine, just not Portland, Maine)
14. Saint Johns
15. San Juan, Puerto Rico
16. Winnipeg

Then for the last 4, some "resort" type of cities because I haven't ever really had a beach vacation type of trip before (its always either been city or outdoors, never resort type).

17. Cancun
18. Cozumel
19. Cabo San Lucas
20. Puerto Vallarta

In no order:
  1. Miami
  2. Toronto
  3. Montreal
  4. Quebec
  5. Charleston
  6. Atlanta
  7. Nashville
  8. Denver
  9. Santa Fe

  14. Key West

That's my entire list. I can't think of 20. Not to make it sound bougie, but I've been to many cities already that I care to see. I don't care to see a lot of North American cities. Most are unappealing to me.

I have seen most in the US, but among bigger metros, have not visited Charlotte, Birmingham, and Buffalo. Would also like to see Calgary and Edmonton, perhaps even Toronto, but I need to figure out this enhanced drivers license thingy.
