Default Most Dangerous Part of Your City/ State

We all know about Camden, NJ, Detroit, Little Rock & New Orleans. Those in NYC, California, Florida may also have troubles pinpointing a hotspot. But how about other places?
Which part of your town or state will you go out of your way to avoid?

Not sure about the most dangerous part of the state. If you stumble upon a drug dealer's cabin around here you could get hurt.

In St. Louis it'd probably mostly be the more northern parts of the city, and East St. Louis, if you include that.

I avoid any community that involves dumb surveys. I haven't found it yet so I am cleaning my weapons awaiting a drive-by and some gang bangers (what do they look like?) as I sign another check over to the NRA.

In Washington, Yakima: gangs, drugs, theft, murder, arson...it has it all. Tacoma has a bad rep, but I don't know for sure.

Right now I live in Maine. There is NOPLACE that I will go out of my way to avoid. Bad sections? Couple of crummy sections located in the biggest cities (Biggest 60,000+ so how ghetto can it get right?) No place I would avoid though. Then again I am 6'2" #225 construction worker that has a CCW and uses it, as well as a Martial Artist. Maine doesn't frighten me at all. Careful yes, avoid - no.

In NYC the worst areas are:

Geographically:

South Bronx
Central Bronx
West Bronx

The above 3 make up the "South" Bronx....which is used to describe the areas affected by decay, arson and blight.

Then the South east Bronx and the North east Bronx are also ****holes.

As for Manhattan, the trouble spots are uptown which consists of Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood.

In Queens, Southside Jamaica and Far Rockaway are bad.

And the northern half of Brooklyn is hell on earth.

No comment on Staten Island.

But alot of NYC is nice nowadays.

As for the state, Buffalo and Rochester are crap.
