Always been curious about this since it's about equidistant between both metropolises. So is it an even split, or does one city have more influence in Youngstown than the other? Sports allegiances? Which city's media market dominates, or is it pretty much 50/50?

Don't know about these days but formerly it apparently was part of the Pittsburgh industrial complex. My grandparents et al migrated back and forth between the two, often.

I grew up north of there and in my experience it seems to be mixed 50/50. I have noticed that people from the the north Youngstown suburbs tend to gravitate more towards Cleveland, while the south suburbs gravitate towards Pittsburgh.
