If you're just flying through Denver, you may like the airport better than if you live in Denver and have to catch a quick flight out, park in a remote or economy lot, and wait in the massive security checkpoint (though I realize that the A Line will improve things for some).

Of course, for those changing planes, the connection itself can seriously skew the perception. For example, I can't stand Detroit's setup- but mostly because every time I fly through, my connection involves me running full speed through the underground "glow tunnel" with only seconds to spare before they close the door....
Denver's has the most 'eyeball/futuristic design' in my opinion. TPA is efficient and currently under a 1+ billion expansion.

It's an interesting question. There are many reasons someone may love/hate an airport.

1) Stuff to do/places to eat/drink when stuck there
2) Efficiency of in/out/transportation
3) Aesthetics
4) Proximity to the downtown of the city it serves

I suppose a better poll would be to rate an airport from 1-10 on each of these four things and sum the total, see what wins.

Denver, for example, is probably a 9 or 10 on #3. But it's a 1 on #4.

Agreed. Tampa's Airport was well ahead of it's time at the FIRST build years ago. With the new changes, etc it still might be the mackdaddy for efficiency in my book.

Denver's airport is a replica of Atlanta's though? It's beautiful, efficient, and clean

Of the majors, Dallas/Fort Worth for sure. Atlanta is also exceptional given how much traffic it handles. Other airports that I think are solid are San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Minnieapols/St. Paul, Detroit, and Tampa.

I don't like Bush Airport here in Houston that much, though we do have a very good selection of destinations. I just don't like the layout.

O'Hare sucks, LAX sucks, and Miami sucks. I avoid all NYC airports as well for connections.

I'm really surprised no one has voted Orlando. It's such a nice airport. Minneapolis/St. Paul also looks really nice
