I drive down Montgomery,Lancaster,Spring Mill Roads everyday. You don't.
So I will repeat it one more time.
I see many more NY plates in my travels in the Philly region than NJ plates. Could be that NYC and surrounding NY burbs have about 10 M people and the South Jersey suburbs surrounding Philly have only 2 M people.
I have about a dozen colleges/universities within 5 miles of me and NY is arguably the main student supply pool alongside the Philly region itself.
