You can, for example, check the "Landfill" box to see where there are active (or inactive) landfills near you.

More worrisome are the incineration sites, which emit highly toxic dioxins (check the "Trash" and "Biomass" boxes to find incinerators).

Bogus map. The waste to energy incinerator in Huntsville Alabama is better than fully compliant with Federal Emissions standards. As long as people throw away garbage the incinerator is sustainable and produces steam energy. As far as the "energy justice" BS is concerned, the racial demographics are fairly consistent with the city as a whole.
