You could also check out smaller cities like Richmond VA or Greenville SC if you think Atlanta or Charlotte are too big.

Charlotte, NC, Philadelphia, PA(arguably it does get cold here, but not as cold as Chicago and winters from my experience here aren't horrible), Nashville, TN(although it isn't a big "business" city, more geared toward education, healthcare, etc. Atlanta, GA(it's starting to get expensive though). Durham, NC.

They're all good for outdoor activities, but the climate and job market in some of them may not be the most ideal for the OP. Portland and SeattleLol are the least sunniest cities in the US and Denver can get very cold. I'd choose a city with a lot of finance jobs and those cities, except for maybe Seattle, don't really stand out as places for accounting/finance majors.

I'd check out both Austin and Atlanta. Having lived in both, they have wonderful food and social scenes, plenty of outdoor activities, a youthful and hip vibe, and a relatively love COL. If you do choose to explore moving to Austin, reach out to me and I'll be happy to be of assistance!

The Tampa/St Pete area is booming and fits your criteria quite well.
