So I recently graduated college with an accounting degree (and a minor in finance). Unfortunately, I still don't have a full-time job lined up, which I really need to move out to a place of my own. I've lived in New Jersey for most of my life and really want a change of scenery. Which cities would you recommend for me to look into? Here are my preferences although I am definitely willing to compromise on some factors.

- Good job market for accounting/finance graduate
- Relatively affordable COL (all I need is a 1BR studio)
- Decent amount of people my age and outdoor activities
- Prefer warm weather over cold and lots of sun

I've looked into Houston, Phoenix, Riverside (CA), among other places. Recommendations of somewhere within a <10 hr drive from NJ would also be great!

I'd recommend Charlotte, NC. Seems to be a perfect fit for that you're looking for.

As mentioned above, ATL and Charlotte seem to be the ideal options on the surface.

I'd throw DFW in the mix as well.

Affordable cost of living kind of rules that out.
