Manhattan = DFW

Brooklyn = Austin

Queens = San Antonio

Bronx = Houston

What do you think about the comparisons?

NYC has five boroughs. You forgot Staten Island.

Then in that case, I will use El Paso as Staten Island.

Oklahoma is basically the NJ of TX imo

NYC has pretty much nothing in common with Texas's cities

None of this makes a lick of sense.

I live in Brooklyn and my roommate is from Austin. She always says that they're kind of alike with weirdness/art/hipsters, so even though I've never been to Austin, I guess I can see that.

But how is Dallas anything like Manhattan? Or Houston like The Bronx? What do they have in common?

DFW has the money/financial sector.

Houston has the crime comparison to the Bronx.

I was going to say, the comparison ends with Austin and Brooklyn having hipsters.

DFW is not comparable to Manhattan as a financial center

Houston's crime rate is probably way higher than that of The Bronx. Not to mention, The Bronx is extremely dense and urban while Houston certainly isn't.

Impart facts rather than just going by feelings, please.
