Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am looking for general suggestions for a new location to call home.

I know there are several possible places, I am just looking for some real suggestions on where to focus my research. I am looking for a new place to call home, a place with polite, real people, who help each other out when someone is in need. Friendly, neighborly people. Low crime is important because I would like to foster or adopt children. I am a single woman in my late 30's with no children and am looking to have pets wherever I do decide to move to. I am really interested in photography, I can get lost in the beauty of photographs and would love to be able to explore this as a hobby. I love sunsets and the ocean, but don't realistically think I can afford to live near the coast.

Thanks again,
Rachael

You could afford the coast in the south, outside of FL of course.

I took a trip to Myrtle Beach almost 10 years ago and I found real happiness there. Standing on the beach at night brought me so much peace.

So, what are some other things you are looking for in a community to live in?

I am looking for just the basics, safety, walkable, friendly people like I mentioned. I am growing more and more irritated with rudeness and two faced people. My biggest request is to get away from the cold, snow and ice.
