Well So here i am in cold pittsburgh. Im a 28 yr old male, have a poltical science and history undergrad degrees and an MBA in corporate Finance currently Working at WElls FArgo! I like my job but i need a change of location! Im single, handsome guy looking to go to a place where there are plenty of women who are young and woking professionals! Seems like all the females are up here are taken and im just up for new experiences. Ive always been a beachy kind of guy but def looking for warmer climate! Im looking for good nightlife, and a really good dating scence. Im asking for alot! Ive been looking at cities like Charlotee, nashville, austin, gainesville, and savanah georgia. Still there are others i guess! Its always tough to just get up and move but here's what i need help in:
1. Best place for single males (such as myself) looking for females
2. Best place for someone who has work experince at a financial company who possesses advanced degrees.
3. Warm climate and night life.
4. And just many opportunities.
This is alot to ask for haha! Any info will be greatly appreciated!! thx
Charlotte would probably be one of the places to top the list of all your categories. Charlotte has a lot of young people, but also has lots of financial corporations to choose from.
However, the unemployment rate is going up there due to mass migration.
Houston. It's economy is actually absorbing it's residents well. Austin is another place to check out. Charlotte has some potential as well, but the type of development going on there doesn't seem to be sustainable, and it seems to be particularly attracting the "miserable people" of a lot of parts of the country as the great panacea.
Austin, Raleigh, San Diego and Atlanta are some of the warm cities that Forbes ranked in its top ten best cities for singles. Not that these Forbes rankings mean much, but interestingly, Pittsburgh was ranked last.

Hackettstown, New Jersey was also ranked amongst the "Best Places" to live in America a few years ago. Since then I don't put much credence into those lists.
Austin sounds good but there are some people who complain about it!!! For any of you who have relocated, whats the process!! I mean dont many companies hire locals cause of the knowledge of the area? Curious
I would scratch out Gainesville and Savannah from your list. Gainesville is certainly young, probably too young for a 28yo. Half the town is composed of college students (51,000 at UF and another 10,000+ at the community college).
Savannah is gorgeous, but it's not that big, and it's kind of isolated.
If you're a young upwardly mobile kind of guy, you'll probably want to be someplace with a big enough airport.
Austin, Charlotte and Nashville are definitely places to consider. All three are growing rapidly, particularly in your age bracket. Charlotte is a hotbed of banking jobs. Nashville and Austin, being state capitals and homes to universities, are also very white collar. Nashville also attracts a lot of young people in the entertainment industry.
If I were you, I'd take a few weekends and go visit those three cities to get a better feel for the areas. I personally would prefer Nashville or Charlotte, but I'm not you.
