How can anyone take these lists seriously anymore? When Hackettstown, NJ was rated amongst the "Best Places" to live in America several years back, I knew these surveys were skewed. Scranton appearing on a "Most Miserable" list is in stark contrast to what I perceive to be an up-and-coming city.
For you Californians, are Stockton and Modesto really that bad?
