Not green like energy saving or recycling but when it comes to nature. I think Seattle would be one of them because of the many forests and lakes that surround the area.

Cities in the coastal SE US (Houston, New Orleans, Savannah, Miami, etc), as well as the West Coast up to southern Oregon, are the best answers.

I would vote for Washington DC. I think it's the most verdant area of the contiguous US, and the large amount of park space makes it spectacularly green in the warmer months.

Chicago isn't very green.

Minneapolis is definately up there.

Atlanta is the greenest I've been to but I've never been to PNW.
