Good eye. I missed that but you are definitely correct, it is Cincinnati.

I like how Nashville preserved its older buildings on its riverfront. Gives its riverfront character. Usually developers looking for quick profits demolish these types of structures replacing them with glass and steel high rise condos using the argument these are just plain old buildings with no architectural significance.

All these cities are pretty but Nashville take's the cake. Atlanta got Stone Mountain, Appalachian Mountains bout an hour or 2 away, and of course the load of trees, but I wouldn't call Atlanta "pretty". Charlotte, like Atlanta, is a couple hours from the Appalachians, but thats it. Charlotte doesn't really have anything pretty about it. Austin is pretty similar to Nashville. Both have rolling hills and tons of lakes and such. But Nashville is just prettier to me. The hills also seem better and the lakes are beautiful. I'd say

Nashville
Austin
Atlanta
Charlotte

Haven't been to Nashville, sadly. I've been to east TN but not middle TN, but I feel I would like Nashville a hell of a lot more. For the foliage alone.

Of the four, I have only spent significant time in Atlanta and Charlotte. Knowing what I do about them, I would rank them as tied for last, as the other two almost have to be more interesting and attractive.

Though I would rank both above Columbus, OH, if it had made the list.

If I had to choose where to live:

1. Atlanta
2. Charlotte
3. Austin
4. Nashville

In terms of beauty:
1. Atlanta
2. Nashville
3. Austin
4. Charlotte

If you find Charlotte to be the ugliest of the four, then why is it your #2 in terms of where you want to live?
