Charlotte
Atlanta
Nashville
Austin

REALLY close, especially the top 3. It might sound a little bias since I live in the area, but I've been to most major cities in the U.S., and Charlotte is clearly one of the most clean/green cities anywhere, especially for such a large city. But all of these cities listed is pretty much splitting hairs. They're all quite beautiful in their own right.

Who the heck is voting for Austin? There is nothing scenic or beautiful about Austin.

Charlotte and Atlanta are both pretty similar, but Nashville is on a different league.

I agree Charlotte is pretty and green, but over atl and nashville? I gotta give you credit for admitting your bias, but be real. Atlanta is the greenest city in the country. And Nashville has a river flowing through it (and a pedestrian bridge) unlike a bunch of highways (i hate this about atl and charlotte).

You also have Lake Norman, Lake Wylie, Plenty of Nature preserves, Catawba River, Plenty of Greenery, Near by Crowders Mountain and by near by, just 30 miles, and also near by Morrow Mountain on Lake tillery and the uharrie mountains, and uwharrie national Forrest with nearby yadkin river. I know Atlanta has near by stone mountain, and is green but I think a lot of people are underestimating Charlotte.

I've been to all four and live in metro Atlanta.

All four are beautiful IMO.

i would go with Charlotte, think it gets more fall color than the others plus two nice lakes right there.
