Eh. Chicago? I don't know. They don't really care for high school football and college is hit and miss. It's lucky to have a large Big 10 population. But I don't know if I can put it in the tier of Atlanta, Houston, Miami, New Orleans.

As a Saints fan all my life, I can attest that even when we're "Aints" fans, we're fans!

Saints fans are almost proud to be WhoDats when their team is losing!

Speaking of WhoDats, that's my dog's name.

I vote for Atlanta. I can't think of another city that takes the sport so seriously at the high school, college and pro levels.

I agree with you for colleges. College football is huge. High School football is taken pretty seriously in Georgia. About equal with Texas.

Atlanta really isn't big on pro sports.

I don't think so. I've lived in both Texas and Georgia for a combined 30 years, and although HS football is big in Georgia, nothing approaches the phenomenon it is in Texas.

It didn't look that way to me when I lived there. Every home game the Falcons had, red and black was everywhere. Since when does Atlanta not love its Dirty Birds?
