Where should I move- Ohio to Canada trough the Northeast
We have family in Ohio, and Family in MA and NEw York. Will be telecommuting and would like to be able to drive to NY for work every now and then (could be up to 10 hrs away). Live in Queens NYC right now....but hate the city. After getting panic attacks on the train and fainting last week ready to get outta here. However love good food, and occasionally seeing a jazz band, hanging out at Cafes on sunday afternoons. I guess New England would be perfect except I believe taxes, and utilities cost more in the long run. Here is some more helpful info:
-Where you are working- Will be Telecommuting
-How much you are willing to spend on housing- 150k-200k for a 2- Multi family- Is it possible?
-How long of a commute you're willing to tolerate- Would like a walkable/bikeable neighborhood where we can walk to a bakery/cafe/restaurant and arts/culture
-If you have kids:No KIds
-What type of neighborhood environment you are looking for: SMALL city excitement
-Community amenities important to you- Good food-we are foodies-good coffee, some live music or jazz every now and then...
