What state border crossings that you have visited have been your crossing? I mean the actual line and the surrounding area.

I love the border crossing from Alabama to Florida on Perdido Key driving on US-98. The pines and palm trees and the water being right there with the big white sand dunes, it's beautiful! Best of the gulf coast.

I also like the border crossing from Oklahoma to Kansas on US-177. It's just very rural and serene with wheat fields. A great welcome to the Midwest. I just like it. It's tranquil, isolated, very Americana.

Best welcome sign though, has to be Minnesota coming up from Iowa on I-35. Every other state welcome sign I've seen was just a metal sign with maybe the state shape and the name but the MN one is a huge statue!

On I-75? I've made that crossing many times but I don't remember vividly what the area is like cuz it's been nearly 4 years since. The mountains there sure are beautiful, though.

I like crossing from AZ to CA and vise versa. It's basically just brown desert from LA to the AZ border and from PHX to the CA border. Although the majority of southern CA and AZ is just straight up desert landscape the colorado river really stands out. As most people know, the river is between AZ and CA and it always amazes me how I can be driving through the desert of CA or AZ then out of nowhere a huge river with vegetation, boats, ect. pops up.

My two favorites are the I-8 border crossing between Yuma, AZ and Winterhaven, CA and then the I-15 border crossing between Nevada and California near Primm, NV (formerly Stateline, NV)

Minnesota does welcome signs really well...

1-90 from WI to MN through La Crosse. Man side is full of bluffs and cliffs. And it's higher by a couple hundred feet than the WI side. So going west, you see bluff faces. Going east, you cut downhill for miles until the Mississippi River valley stretches out in front of you.

Not as beautiful but I-94 up near the Twin Cities is neat, crossing the St Croix at Hudson, WI.
