I just love exploring weird and quirky antique stores, flea markets, and thrift stores. Of places that I've visited, Clinton Street in Binghampton, New York; Providence, Rhode Island; and Western Massachusetts both stand out, but what other cities and regions should I explore?
I'm also going to a conference in Hartford, CT for a couple days in October, but I'll have a couple days to myself afterward. Should I spend those days in Hartford or should I explore someplace else nearby? I'm considering Southeastern Mass (New Bedford area), Saratoga Springs, and New Haven, but I'm open to other suggestions in the Northeast.
