Hello.
I have a question about Imigration
My girlfriend was a tourist in the USand while in the US she asked for a extension of the permit to stay and they accepted it giving her 6 extra month she left 3 months before that was over. How long should she wait before she tries to re enter the country ?
Six months would be best, because they want to see more time out than in. If she had a 90-day visitor visa and added 3 months = 6 months, she should stay out that long.
However, they can always reject her at point of entry if they feel she is abusing a visitor visa. It also depends on if she is coming from a high fraud country.
She is from Spain and she lasted 9 months in the country cause she had a 6 month permit and extended it 6 more months but she left 3 months earlier. So in you opinion she should wait at least 9 mo the to come back so it will be better ??

So she was on B1/B2. Rule of thumb is at least as much time out as in. Have plenty of proof of binding ties to Spain with you - contracts, property, ... .
Ok thank you so much your information was very valuable
