Delaplane, Virginia where I grew up. Beautiful farms and orchards, located around the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Shenandoah National Park is vastly underrated.

Truth is, I don't have a favorite small town. There are probably some cities with populations between 75,000-150,000 I would consider living in.

It's been years, but Holland MI (and yes plenty of other small towns in MI up and down the same coast)
I like what I've seen of Abingdon VA though I don't go nearly often enough.
