Hey Everyone,

This thread is meant to be fun for everyone to share their opinions and information.

So I grew up in a small, country-like town in Upstate, Ny and loved it, so I was wondering what is everyones favorite small town is and why?

Thank you!

Blowing Rock, N. C. That's where we spent our honeymoon. It's magic. The area is also Mitford.

Beaufort, SC. Our oldest son serves at the Marine Corps Air Station there. It's basically a mini-Charleston; about an hour south of Charleston itself. Extremely beautiful with historic homes, Spanish Moss Oaks, lots of rivers/marshes, beaches nearby, great food/shopping. We LOVE visiting.

Blowing Rock, NC. Gorgeous little mountain town about 2 hours north of Charlotte. Very beautiful and elegant.

Brevard, NC. VERY nature oriented and beautiful; like a green rainforest. About 35 minutes outside of Asheville.

Falmouth, MA. Where my in-laws live on Cape Cod. Very beautiful, neat town on the ocean, across from Martha's Vineyard.

This really only works if you actually name the town.

I always enjoy a trip out to Franklin, PA.

Aesthetically, you couldn't beat Wallace, ID. Although weather-wise, you couldn't lose to it.
