I think of Denver being a really, really isolated city at the western edge of the Great Plains and the foot of the Rocky Mountains. No matter how nice Denver might be, I think I wouldn't like living there, just because there are no other large cities within hundreds of miles. (I'd consider places along the I-25 corridor between Cheyenne and Pueblo to be small or intermediate-sized cities.)

I think it's a really cool city with nice weather and scenery. I think of the perfect ski resorts just a few hours away. And, I think about University of Denver where I would like to go in a few years.

Beings I'm from Wisconsin and have never been out west. I've seen pictures of Denver and it looks so graceful. Now as someone said before it seems isolated. Other than that, Denver looks like a beautiful city with lots of people that have lots of Money and fancy log cabins.

I'm from there....so I'm not gonna tell you what comes to mind. lol. But I will say that it's a little surprising how ACCURATE most of the responses have been so far.

Good topic!

Before posting on this site, I thought Denver was very cold and in the mountains. However, I've learned that it is actually in the plains and its not that cold in the winter. I also learned that Denver has a lot of sun, which is great!
