I'd love for this thread to be a place where forum members post pictures of their favorite city (or cities) in the US/Canada that have "large city" written all over them. I would prefer if they're cities other than NYC is totally on a different scale from anywhere else the US/Canada.

Post pics that reflect how the city's home region expresses urbanity (e.g. in Texas large cities scream urbanity through the presence of highrise-lined wide/crowded freeways that meet at numerous stack interchanges, while in the Northeast, the "large city" vernacular is the presence of a heavily trafficked core and a well-used heavy rail network).

Some photos I took of downtown Minneapolis nightlife on Saturday nights. I think the downtown crowds that we get on weekend nights are one of the most "big city" elements we have. In general, first time out of town visitors are usually pretty surprised if they visit the Warehouse District on a Friday or Saturday night.
