Yup. Yes, telling from that list, Duke seems to be the best in the south at #8. But rice and vandy are both tied at #15 so its debatable.

and when did i compare Greenville to Birmingham. I was talking about universities, the topic of the thread.

i would say you were being defensive because you seem to think that i was dumping on B'ham.

might as well link to the US News rankings. hard to believe people have independent knowledge of these colleges, and the opinions basically line up with the US news rankings.
