SO, There isn't actually a rail system in Knightdale, but Raleigh does have an Amtrak station that connects to Charlotte and Washington DC. There is currently a bond on the ballot to create a light rail system and expand the bus system.

The schools are part of the Wake County Public School system, you'll have an plethora of options. Lots of medical offices. We're 8 minutes from WakeMed which the region's level IV trauma hospital. There's also world class Duke and UNC hospital systems.
