I expected mobile to be higher. Jax and Dallas seems about right, which says a lot given that jax is 1/5 Dallas size.

The OP should consider fort Myers, FL where I just moved to. It's way at the bottom of that list. Lol.

Even Austin and Ashville wouldn't qualify as heavily atheist.
Exactly!! Most so called "liberal" cities in the south like Austin and Atlanta wouldn't be liberal anywhere else.

IF you want true lack of religion, get out of the US and head to Europe, some parts of Asia, and Australia. But if you want to be around people in the us who tend not to be with religion, your only options are the PNW or new england

And Florida. See the list provided to you by Mutiny. Southwest Florida is just as irreligious as the PNW and NE. Other major cities in the peninsula aren't far behind. I have lived all over Florida, Tampa, Orlando, SW Florida, and travel all throughout the state. I rarely meet regular church goers in any of the peninsulas cities.

You're right, at least in Atlanta being "liberal" doesn't cater to a specific demographic, while neglecting others in the process.

lol wut.

You know Asia's more than just East Asia right? and as for Europe, ask Fethullah Gulen why he's currently living in the US.

The hipsters moving to NOLA aren't religious, but let's not kid ourselves. The south is a God freak zone.

I love how Happiness is trying to pain Florida as this atheist eutopia. Florida is far closer to the rest of the South in religion than it is to the PNW or New England.

Lol yeah I didn't reply to him. Florida is alot more southern then people think. People get fooled by the beaches, cubans, and the beauty, but dont play yourself, you're still in the south. Same goes for Texas. Heard people tell me Austin was "west coast" (wtf) and religion is low there. Again, don't play yourself, you're still in texas

When most people call Austin "West Coast," they aren't being literal or complimenting.
