Though I approve of Rhode Island's affinity for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I'm also surprised considering Rhode Islanders' odd propensity to pronounce it "Reesie's."

I LOOOOVE Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

When I was a kid I called them "candy cups."

Everybody I've ever met outside of Rhode Island pronounces it like "Reese-is." That's how they say it in the ads and everything, too.

Interesting - I really like candy corn and was quite pleased with that designation myself. And being a Texan, and knowing how popular candy corn is around here, I find that easy to believe. I do think it's probably very closely followed by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. And yes, folks, it's REESES. NOT REESIES.

And I actually counted five states that chose candy corn, not just Texas and Tennessee.

What shocks me is that any state would choose Twizzlers. BLECH.
