i certainly don't see any white people being greeted with guns/thrown in the train tracks when they exit the train at 125st. white people are a common site in many parts in harlem. Even if some are given dirty looks on some sts or in the unlikely event that they become a victim of a crime (more probable to happen if they were non-white in harlem!), its not that common. You don't exactly here about white people being beaten to death in harlem everyday. There are plenty of white people living in the 130s in harlem, between amsterdam and adam clayton powell for example (I used to work over there) in the brownstones on tree lined sts. All the white parents that came to pick up their babies at the daycare I worked at thankfully came back in one piece each time.

Black oppression is sad, especially since most of it originates with their own people. Black slavery started with them enslaving and selling each other... but black americans really don't want to go over and Africa and complain, its more cozy to complain here in the US.

Native Americans, the people who personally I think have had it worse then any minority in the US, you never hear about..

regardless.... white kids growing up in majority black schools are frequently the targets of racism and hate. I say schools, not neighborhoods, cuz honestly it seems outside the schools most people are respectful to those who treat them with respect, in schools however its not the case...

From LA to Miami the only minority-majority neighborhood where I thought people really disliked me was in STL, and even then I didn't feel like anyone was going to attack me....
African Americans are more likely to get longer prison terms. More likely to receive the death penalty. Three to one more likely to go to prison than obtain a college degree. Crack cocaine has stiffer penalties than powder cocaine.
You can object all you want, but institutional racism is alive & in effect. The proof is in the pudding my friend.

Are you daft? Why would you expect to hear very much about native Americans considering that they are 1% of the total population?
