Do you want to argue that a city like Charlotte or Minneapolis has better food than New York or San Francisco? Not saying those cities have bad food, but come on man, there is a difference.

It is not a list of best food scenes, getting upset that places like New York aren't ranked at the top is missing the point.
It's also silly and petty. NYC doesn't need its ego stroked by a ranking vis-a-vis other American cities. If you are in NY and somehow need constant reassurance about your city, it says a lot more about you than it does the city itself.
