The reason I say Republican voting and conservative are not synoynmous; I think there are a lot of areas that vote heavily Republican, but aren't really conservative. Binge drinking, having kids out of wedlock, drug use, not going to church, etc. are socially acceptable but the area votes overwhelmingly Republican.

If you want a sizable town/small city that is very conservative, I would recommend the following choices.

Texas
------
Midland
Odessa
Lubbock
Amarillo
Waco

Oklahoma
-----------
Oklahoma City

Kansas
--------
Wichita

Arkansas
----------
Fort Smith
Northwest Arkansas Region (not Fayetteville though)
IMO we should add Topeka, Kansas to your list too. That is where the Westboro Baptist Church is located. Any list of most conservative towns should also include Orem, Utah.

I agree. However, based on the replies I've seen so far, few really read (or understood) the question.
The OP isn't looking for the "most conservative" location (which could still have thousands of liberals). The OP is looking for a location with few, if any, liberals.

Except the Westboro Baptist Church isn't very well liked in Topeka.

Hate groups exist in areas where the majority of people in the area don't agree with them. Ever heard of the Portland street preachers? They are a part of a new generation of hate (along with Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe AZ) that makes Westboro look tame.

the westboro church isn't conservative. they protest at military funerals which seems like something the far left would do.

I would bet you're wrong. I'm sure many such people exist in Appalachia.

The parts of Appalachia I'm referencing vote overwhelmingly Republican. I'm not looking down on anyone or beating on the GOP here, I'm just saying that many GOP voters are not necessarily conservative.
