Now chances are I forgot a few places, because I have traveled this general arc a lot; you can pretty much tell where my road most traversed has taken me.

I left out the counties driven through because, well, figuring that out is a far more time consuming than I can currently afford. You'd be safe to bet that most of the counties around the ones I have marked would be blue as car is the only way I have ever traveled.

EDIT: For some reason imgur will not work.

EDIT: Tumblr won't work either...? What am I doing wrong here.
Okay I think I figured out what was wrong.

Let's see...

I'm pretty happy with it, considering I have a ton of the west covered. Still want more Midwest, and some east and south of course.

I recall that there were something like 3,200 counties in the US, had tracked these on another county map tool and was pretty close to 1,000 when that site went away.

I remember our CD friend from Texas claimed he had visited every county, have no reason not to believe him

shouldn't really matter anyways as even out of the car you're likely insulated by your shoe leather if we are getting technical.

even so, I've made a habit during my road trips now in satisfying your shoe requirement by tying an old pair of wing-tips to the back bumper and letting them drag behind...

I've always used a site called mob-rule.com for keeping track of counties, worth checking out if you're into this sort of thing. My map is only filled out from when I've been old enough to remember specifically what route I took to get to a certain place, so it's incomplete if we're talking about my entire life.
