Largest Greek population in U.S. (map, places, America, highest)

What cities/towns have the largest Greek population here in America?

I heard it was Tarpon Springs, FL but it looks like Tarpon is more German then Greek. Or at least it is now.

Can someone help me? I tried searching the internet and can't really find anything.

Probably the "Astoria" neighborhood in Queens, parts of Detroit.Out of actual incorporated cities, it's Tarpon Springs. Tarpon Springs is more German than Greek because most places in the US are German dominated, but few have a measurable Greek population.

I've heard that Tarpon Springs has the highest concentration of Greeks in the US, too. But even if it doesn't, I know I always love going there and eating fabulous Greek food along the sunny shores of the Gulf of Mexico and hearing a lot of Greek being spoken all around me.

There are large numbers of Greek/Greek heritage people in the Chicago and Detroit areas too. Tarpon Springs is a small town with a small Greek population.

Both Detroit and Baltimore have neighborhoods called Greektown. Not sure how Greek they are anymore.

Tons of Greeks in Chicagoland. Ever seen the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding?

Seriously though, there are lots of Greeks here. I love attending Greek Fests in the area, its a cool cultural experience that all must try some time.

I always thought of Chicago as having a large number of Greeks. Also, I believe they have the largest Polish population in the country.

Greektown in Chicago is awesome! That's where I've seen the most Greeks in one concentration.
